| The filming in Afghanistan and Pakistan really helped me understand the story. I didn’t like the kite fighting sequences. Excellent story. Loved older Amir and the view into Afghan culture. |

| I liked the progression of the film; the pace was very appropriate. While I was watching, I felt fompletely absorbed into the film, the story. Without read the book I thought the book did an excellent job of setting the scenes to tell the story. I t didn’t feel incomplete or disjointed at any point. Nothing stuck out as something that could have been done differently in the movie. |
